Anyone who’s lived in Wisconsin for a period of time has probably heard the catchy slogan “One Call…That’s All!” coined by David Gruber. This simple, yet ridiculously effective catch phrase has helped propel David into being one of the most well-known Wisconsin attorneys, and also unknowingly to me, one of the top 100 Trial Attorneys in the United States. But why do we think that is?
How often do we need to reach out to Amazon or Walmart with a question, or to return something and then spend 20 minutes talking with a computer chat bot, navigating phone menus, or saying multiple times “Operator” before we can reach someone? Has anyone tried to call their insurance company lately? Seriously, have fun waiting on hold for an hour – but then when you finally do get in touch with someone, they can help you out quickly and “relatively” painlessly, right?
A Focus on Building Relationships
At Watertech we try to take a different approach to solving our customers issues. More and more often when a client calls with a question or needs help with an issue, my response is to promptly schedule time to stop out and meet in person. Not only does this aid in effectively troubleshooting any issues and answer any questions at hand, but it also shows that I’m invested, that I care, and that Watertech has their back. This is true with all the reps at Watertech. Real human relationships and the cohesiveness between members of a team determines that team’s level of success.
Whether that’s on the basketball court, in the courtroom, or inside a chiller plant. Teamwork truly does make the dream work. The reason “One Call…That’s All!” is such an effective slogan is because it takes the complexities of everyday business and boils it down to the simplicity of human interaction. Something that Watertech is constantly trying to maintain. We don’t want to be viewed as your supplier, but rather an extension of your staff.
Innovation and Technology Help Us Leverage Information
The rise of AI based technology in both the workplace and in our personal lives is growing at an ever-quicker pace. Watertech provides the perfect balance. The ability of AI to handle mundane tasks and free up time for more pressing needs can’t be underestimated. Currently, we are at the forefront of incorporating AI technology into our industry with our Aquassist platform, this will allow for AI monitoring and trending of various water treatment systems. The goal of this platform is to provide predictive failure analysis, which will alert us before an issue occurs and help guide us to a solution. The purpose is to help us do our job faster and easier, but cannot remove the human element. So, when we say the future is now, it’s 100% accurate!
Watertech Focuses on Maintaining a Personal Touch
This is why as the focus on AI continues to grow, I’m pushing for Innovative Technology with a Personal Touch. There is value in allowing AI to take over the rote, basic tasks we need done on a day-to-day basis, but it’s so incredibly important that we don’t lose touch of the personal side that makes humanity special – our interconnectedness. This is what makes Watertech such a special place to work- because we have a team of very real and normal people dedicated to helping others solve problems, while continuing to push the boundaries of technology!
