As consumers become more environmentally conscious, sustainability has become an important focus for businesses. The constant drive to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint leave companies looking for solutions to hit their goals. EndoTherm is an easy and effective option for reducing energy consumption and the annual spend on energy in today’s facility. This organic, non-toxic, environmentally friendly water treatment additive is proven to reduce energy consumption in heating and cooling closed-loop recirculating systems.
How Does EndoTherm Work?
The high surface tension of water limits a system’s ability to transfer heat. EndoTherm chemically creates a larger thermal contact area on the inside of hydronic systems by reducing the surface tension of the water in any heating/cooling system. Reducing the surface tension of fluid in a heating/cooling system improves contact with the unavoidable imperfections of the metals in a boiler/chiller tube or any heat exchanger. Increased thermal contact improves the efficiency of heat transfer. The result is proven energy savings with an average payback of less than two years.
