Watertech encourages a culture of giving. We partner with various charitable organizations, such as MKE Riverkeeper and Canned Water 4 Kids (CW4K). We mentor kids in the classroom on industrial water career choices. Watertech is also proud to reward those pursuing careers in water through the The Watertech of America Scholarship in memory of our founder, Eugene Vanden Heuvel. Each year the scholarship is awarded to 3-4 graduate level students at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater sciences. Watertech Marketing Intern – Summer 2020Watertech of America, Inc.Watertech of America manages boiler, cooling, wastewater and potable water systems for industrial and commercial markets throughout the Midwest. We are Wisconsin’s only full-service water treatment company; offering equipment installation and support, delivery of locally manufactured and warehoused chemicals, pretreatment services, and unmatched customer service. Watertech is located in Greenfield, Wisconsin and has been in business since 1980.Intern OverviewWe are a growing company that would like to bring in a marketing intern for the summer of 2020. The intern will collaborate with our sales and marketing team and assist with all stages of marketing campaigns. They will help develop, expand and maintain marketing channels. This role will provide training, guidance and the opportunity to gain valuable real-world work experience.Requirements:• Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program, pursuing a career in communications, business or environmental science.• Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms• Ability to multi-task and take initiative• Hardworking and driven • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly• Experience with content creation• Experience with video production a plus, but not required• 10-15 hours per week, flexible schedulingJob Duties:• Attend meetings with our Vice President, Director of Sales and Marketing Coordinator• Assist with proposals• Research marketing needs• Assist with the planning and promotion of Watertech University training events • Research and develop content for Watertech’s monthly blog and newsletter• Help create and send email blasts for sales promotions and new products as needed• Updating various website pages • Help our sales team follow up with prospects/leads generated through our marketing campaigns• Analyze Watertech’s CRM system to maintain communication between our reps and their prospects/leads• Create a social media content calendar and schedule posts• Track post and page interactions and work towards increasing likes/follows
