We currently manage the water systems for 20+ facilities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and northern Illinois  That, combined with an average of 22 years of water treatment experience per field representative, should give you the assurance that your water systems will operate at the highest level.

As an active member and Gold Sponsor for WHEA, we provide training to healthcare facilities throughout Wisconsin.  In addition, we offer the DIOX Water Hygiene Program for secondary water disinfection.  This program includes a state-of-the-art chlorine dioxide generator used in conjunction with our 6 Step Approach to Managing Waterborne Pathogens.

Our approach to healthcare centers around three goals:

Public Health & Safety

As a healthcare facility you have a duty of care, a duty to act and a duty to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.  Our #1 concern is to partner with you to ensure that your water systems are free of anything that would put your patients' health at risk.  We are experienced and are up-to-date with all of the regulations and guidelines from JCAHO, ASHRAE, the Wisconsin Department of Commerce and others. Careful consideration of high purity water, process improvement, cooling and boiler treatment and Legionella risk are just some of the services unique to healthcare. As always, our products and services keep you operating with best practices at all times.

Risk Management

At Watertech, we use every tool at our disposal to ensure that your water management assets perform as designed, thereby minimizing patient risk, system failure and down-time.  These tools include:

  • Quality products
  • On-site and laboratory analysis
  • Operator training
  • 24 hour monitoring and control

Sustainability

Sustainability refers to the ability of a system to provide consistent performance for an extended period of time.  In the water industry we look at two primary areas of sustainability:

Environmental Sustainability

The goal of environmental sustainability is to reduce the environmental impact of your operation.  Watertech can assist by helping identify usage of resources (water, chemical, etc.) and finding ways to reduce those resources used in your operation.  This is so important to us that it is in our mission statement.

Economic Sustainability

The outcome of environmental sustainability is often economic sustainability, or the ability to reduce the costs associated with your operation.  At Watertech, we are always looking for ways to reduce the costs of your water and related systems.
