INDUSTRIES SERVED

The Association of Water Technologies is a non-profit trade organization representing nearly 400 regional water treatment companies throughout the United States and internationally. Members of AWT are full-service companies that specialize in the application of water treatments for industrial and commercial cooling, heating and wastewater systems.  AWT provides business and professional eduction, training, certification, networking and regulatory and public awareness programs.

One of the key benefits of being an AWT member is the ability to achieve their Certified Water Technologist (CWT) certification.  The CWT program represents the highest professional credential in the industrial and commercial water treatment field. It provides professional recognition for individuals involved in water treatment and technology to indicate to the general public,

co-workers, employers and others that an individual has achieved a high level of experience, knowledge and education in the industry. The CWT designation assures that water professionals possess a core body of knowledge and have extensive professional experience in all aspects of water treatment.
